A Win for Greenpeace

Bird Marella attorneys Peter J. Shakow and Sandhya Ramadas were able to obtain a complete dismissal of a case against employees of Greenpeace successfully arguing that the government could not bring its case without introducing inadmissible hearsay evidence.  The employees were charged with obstruction of a business.

Big Win for Client Samsung

Bird Marella attorneys Ekwan E. Rhow and David I. Hurwitz  win motion to reconsider for client Samsung Telecommunications America LLC halting a putative class action over allegedly defective Galaxy S II phones.  The judge referred the matter to arbitration reversing an earlier decision in January 2013.
